RTE reports “Banks need to do more for customers moving from Ulster Bank and KBC - Central Bank”
The impending closures of Ulster Bank and KBC Bank Ireland means many businesses now need to consider alternative banking solutions. If your business will be affected by the bank closures, it may be a good time to now consider whether the business has sufficient plans, preparations and resources in place to manage the transition. Actions that could be taken now:-Consider opening a new business bank account. Be mindful it may take up to 12 weeks to complete the process. If the business has another financial institution bank account, consider commencing the re direction of certain customer receipts and outgoing payments / Direct debits.
